LINX VII-5

This newest member of the LINX terminal family offers unparalleled flexibility while being packaged in the immensely popular and rugged standard LINX terminal case.

The real-time OS contains an internal web server, FTP server, file system, supports static or DHCP IP addresses, and can be configured with a web browser. This allows the terminal to have enhanced remote management and diagnostics, standard TCP communications, and the ability to run an application in eight different operating modes. These modes range from being table driven which requires no programming knowledge, to full terminal control using "C" programming language.

The LINX VII-5 Data Collection Terminal is a programmable device, which gives it the ability to adapt to a wide variety of applications. Since not all applications require sophisticated and potentially complex programming methods, LINX provides a variety of ways to program the terminal. These range from complex methods that grant complete terminal control, but require considerable programming knowledge, to much simpler methods that offer considerable functionality but require less programming skills. There are eight programming modes available.
