Electronic Payroll Interface Module (UltraPay)
The Electronic Payroll Interface option for UltraTime Enterprise provides an integrated and seamless method to provide an electronic conversion of the employee payroll information to a form that is suitable for a payroll service or payroll software package.
Payroll Services
Many companies use external payroll services because of the convenience, or simply because they don't have the facilities or personnel to print checks for employees every pay period. UltraPay provides the capability to electronically transfer the data normally keypunched into the external service. The cost savings from reduced keypunch requirements and keypunch errors will normally pay for the system the first time it is used. Instead of the normal one to two day keypunch requirement, the payroll can be transmitted usually in less than an hour.

Payroll Software
Many companies prefer to keep their employee payroll in-house and commonly use many of the available payroll programs. UltraPay provides the conversion services required for many of these programs, with new ones being added all the time. UltraPay converts the payroll information from UltraTime Enterprise into a file that is compatible with the payroll program's external payroll interface. UltraPay reduces the need to keypunch the data into the payroll program each payroll period, thereby reducing costs and improving productivity.
