Detex - ProxiPen

ProxiPen is a new generation data acquisition unit made by GCS for reading radio frequency (RFID) tags and other transponders automatically without any operating elements on the reader. It is compact, lightweight and easy to handle.

The electronics of ProxiPen are potted in a shock resistant plastic housing, making the reader completely waterproof and resistant against heat, shocks and hydrocarbons.
The low power consumption of the electronic circuit requires only one size AA commercial alkaline, lithium or rechargeable battery, which can be replaced without any special tools. In conjunction with the memory capacity, the device can be used in the field without intermediate read outs.
